The day begins at three in the morning.
The temple runs to a fixed rhythm. Knowing it is the difference between an hour in the queue and a darshan you will remember. Ask the desk the night before and we will wake you.
Your local time. The temple runs on IST.
These timings are indicative and follow the temple's usual daily order. They change on Ekadashi, Vishu, Ashtami Rohini, during Udayasthamana pooja and on wedding days. Please confirm with the Devaswom or ask at our front desk on the morning of your darshan.
Before you walk down.
Dress code

What to leave behind
Phones, cameras, footwear and bags are not allowed inside. Leave valuables in the room or at our desk rather than in the temple's counters queue.
Best hours
Nirmalyam at 3 am and Deeparadhana at 6:30 pm are the two most rewarding darshans. Weekday mornings are far quieter than weekends and festival days.
